course dessert~Strawberry Tart



It feels like summer already!

it's a berry season!
so come eat my strawberry tart! which is served as one of the course menu.

    This is going to sound silly but I haven't had a tart since I was really young.. What is the white stuff under the strawberries? Your sauce always looks so perfect! Do you use brown rice syrup? I have too many questions! Ahh. Sorry!

    The new menu looks amazing. I can't wait to try it! You guys always come up with really creative and interesting foods.

    I hope this could be our regular menu for the summer. Tarts are always nice with berries or stone fruits. The stuff underneath the strawberry is tofu cream with a hint of pistachio paste that I made.
    hope you can try it someday!
    for the sauce, I use maple syrup to loosen it :)

  3. Pistachio... That's really cool. My friend had thought it might be green tea, but we couldn't figure it out. But we did agree the mystery flavor made it really good! I wish I could try it again, but USC is about to go on summer break, and so I won't be back in LA until the fall :,,(
    I'm going to miss Shojin soooo much!!
